Hi, I'm Corky!

In the fall of 2021 is when I joined the Maschari Marketing team. My job is kind of a jack of all trades. I make sure everything and everyone is taken care of and has what they need.  I do part of the accounting, inputting, prep for events, running errands, & anything that the team needs, I do.

In the past, I have worked in a restaurant kitchen, and a coffee shop, sold cell phones, got my degree in early childhood education and was a substitute teacher, and also had the pleasure of working at Legoland in Carlsbad, California. So a little bit of everything.

Surprisingly enough, a lot of the skills that I have acquired through my past careers have prepared me for this particular job.

My wife started Maschari Marketing in 2020 and the business grew so fast that she needed more help. So we decided I would join the team. I started part-time and I still maintained my current job. But after a while, there was too much work to do in her business so I left my job and became a full-time team member for Maschari Marketing.

Working for my wife is a challenge. Because when I am at work I am her team member and not her husband. She still seems to slip some husbandly duties during the work day once in a while lol. But that’s ok.

I like working for Maschari Marketing because I see how it helps businesses grow and how we connect to the community. It’s exciting for me as a “boomer” to be able to stay in touch with today's social media, technology, & trends. It keeps me young. I love that my wife is the one running this business, and I support her because I get to be a part of making this business succeed.

Our fur babies are so important to me and being able to be there for them and take care of them makes me very happy. I even bring my dog, Scruffy, to work with me every day.

This business also gives me time for myself to have my own hobbies. And having a balanced work/home life is very important to me.
